Next to My Bed/April

These books – with exception of one that is not for sale yet – are/will be next to my bed/reading rack/marshmallow this month:

  • The Imperfectionists:  A Novel by Tom Rachman
  • The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest by Stieg Larsson (5/25)
  • Currently reading The Three Weissmann’s of Westport by Cathleen Schine and I love, love, love her writing.  Adding more of her books, The New Yorkers, Alice in Bed, and Rameau’s Niece.
  • The Season of Second Chances by Diane Meier
  • The Hard Way by Julie Luongo
  • Am rereading Grammar Snobs Are Great Big Meanies: A Guide to Language For Fun and Spite by June Casagrande.  So, so funny! Yes, I’m a freak.

*Many, many thanks to Sharon the Angel for reading my March list and gifting me with Cathleen Schine’s book.*

  1. “Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest” … that was all she wrote 🙂 ….sorry couldn’t help myself.

  2. Wow. I don’t know if I could read that many books in a month… Or even a year. sheesh.

  3. Oh yeah? By my bed I keep a bottle of chocolate syrup . At 2AM eating a candy bar takes too long and when you squirt it under your tongue it’s an instant rush like shooting it. You can’t do that with no dumb book.
