Shock + Awe = Redirection Assist

Big steaming mug of coffee.  Sweet dog curled at my feet. Reading any and everything.  Doing exactly as I please.  Note to self:  Do you realize how damn lucky you are?  Self:  No, most of the time I don’t. But today, yes I do.

With a nod and a huge bouquet of sincere thanks, my first read of the morning was “Why I’ll Never Complain Another Day in My Life…” by A Fly on the Wall.  If you haven’t seen this WordPress post/blog yet, I would encourage you to do so.  In one fell swoop, her post and the accompanying video forced me to think and remember and recalibrate my inner compass.  The words haven’t presented themselves to express what I’m feeling.  But I can say, with complete confidence – and acceptance – I am reminded, in a wonderful way, that my life is NOT all about me. And that is a very good thing.

Later.
